VP Global Brand Marketing Pepsi, 7UP, Mirinda, PepsiCo
Eric Melis is Vice President, Global Brand Marketing for PepsiCo’s International Beverages business where he leads the global growth strategy, and oversees global marketing, outside of the U.S., for some of the world’s most iconic beverage brands – Pepsi, 7UP and Mirinda. In this role, he spearheaded the award-winning “Thirsty for More” international brand campaign for Pepsi which brings together the brand’s passion for rich entertainment and unique consumer experiences with the brand purpose that is part of Pepsi’s DNA. Most notable is the brand’s work in partnership with UEFA for the 2023 Champion’s League finals, sponsoring the kick-off show and collaborating to strive towards their shared sustainability goal for ‘zero waste to landfill’, at these, and all future, UEFA events. Additionally, Eric facilitated the rollouts of new global visual identity ecosystems for 7UP and Mirinda and is supporting the brands’ advances towards providing new healthier or no sugar options in a broader range of markets, without compromising on taste, all in line with PepsiCo’s goal of reducing sugars across their portfolio by 2025.
