Alastair Campbell is a writer, communicator and strategist best known for his role as former British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s spokesman, press secretary and director of communications and strategy. He now splits his time between writing, speaking, charity and consultancy work. In recent years, Alastair has also contributed to the growing public conversation around mental health.
He regularly appears on television and in print to discuss his own experience of living with depression, speaking candidly about the importance of destigmatising mental health conditions and improving the way society engages with them.
He is also the co-host of The Rest Is Politics, one of Britain’s biggest politics shows, alongside Rory Stewart, where they break down current affairs in the UK and around the world for tens of millions of listeners and viewers each month.
