Claire McAlpine (she/her) serves as the Head of Inclusive Planning at EssenceMediaCom, with a deep commitment to equity, authentic representation, and positive social impact. Her mission is to ensure these values are embedded in every key touchpoint within media planning. She collaborates with some of the UK's and EMEA's top brands, including adidas, Mars, Tesco, Sky, and Google. Claire’s work in driving change within the industry has been recognised by Campaign, who awarded her the Inspiring Women award for ‘Making Media Matter’, MEFA awarded her Inclusive Planning workstream the ‘Business Transformation’ award, and she is also on the IPA iList for industry changemakers. Claire's focus on innovation and network building centres marginalised voices and communities within campaigns, creating award-winning client work. She is dedicated to fostering systemic change in the industry, which is evident in her efforts to diversify media supply chains and embed inclusive media within comms planning processes. Her work goes beyond creating media campaigns; it's about transforming the industry and making authentic representation and social impact a reality.
