Kate Narbrough
Brand Director, Nomad Foods
In 2021, Kate took on her first client-side role at Europe’s largest frozen food company, Nomad Foods. As the Group Brand Director, Kate is responsible for developing business building equities, lasting campaigns and communication and media strategies for iconic brands across Europe including BirdsEye, Findus, Iglo, Goodfellas, Aunt Bessies, La Cocinera, Ledo and Frikom. Operating within a matrix structure, Kate delivers the total brand agenda for the business, and inspires the heads and hearts of 200+ marketers, in 22 markets across the region.
Before joining Nomad Foods, Kate previously held numerous agency side roles at leading creative agencies. She has experience working for or with all major agency holding companies - WPP (Wunderman Thompson), Omnicom (TBWA), Publicis Groupe (Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett & Publicis) & Interpublic Group (McCann), and has created multi-award winning, break-through work across diverse categories including FMCG, Technology, Luxury, Travel, Financial Services, and Retail. Kate has a proven ability to lead large, high performing teams to deliver outstanding business-building results across Local (UK & Australia), Regional (EMEA, APAC) and Global businesses.
In parallel to her marketing career, Kate has volunteered in the criminal justice system for nearly 20 years. Starting at university, Kate worked with Tipp (Theatre in Prisons & Probation), a charity committed to the idea that the participatory arts have the power to transform people's lives for the better. In 2016 Kate was sponsored by her then employer, Leo Burnett, to travel to Malawi where she worked to set up the first young offenders institutes in the country. And now, Kate volunteers one day a month as a magistrate with the Surrey & Sussex Magistrates court. It’s a ‘side hustle’ that always has and always will be very important to her.
In her free time Kate enjoys reading other people’s stories (aka autobiographies), weight training, and every moment she spends with her husband and two young boys.
